Loughlin and Giannulli married in 1997 and share two daughters, Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli. A representative for the couple confirmed in October 2025 that the two were living apart, though no legal proceedings were underway at that time. Neither Loughlin nor Giannulli has publicly commented since the divorce filing.
Court documents cite irreconcilable differences and indicate the couple has a prenuptial agreement, though details of that agreement have not been made public. The filing states that spousal support will be determined at a later date.
The couple’s marriage weathered significant public scrutiny after both were convicted in the 2019 college admissions scandal for paying to secure their daughters’ admission to the University of Southern California. Loughlin served a two-month prison sentence, and Giannulli served five months; both completed community service as part of their sentences. The couple remained together publicly for several years after the scandal before separating in 2025.
Loughlin, known for her role as Aunt Becky on “Full House” and its Netflix revival “Fuller House,” has continued acting in television projects since her release from prison. Giannulli, a fashion designer who founded the Mossimo clothing brand, has kept a lower public profile in recent years.
