The Tennessee Volunteers will wear a helmet sticker honoring Dolly Parton for the entire 2026 football season, head coach Josh Heupel announced Monday.

What the Sticker Looks Like

The sticker features a butterfly, a microphone, and Parton’s signature. “We’ll be wearing a sticker patch on the back of our helmet to recognize her accomplishments, and everything that she’s meant, and had an impact on Tennessee,” Heupel said.

Why Tennessee Is Honoring Her

Parton, a Tennessee native, died August 25 at age 80 after a brief battle with cancer. She grew up in East Tennessee and maintained deep ties to the region throughout her career, including founding the Dollywood theme park in Pigeon Forge and funding literacy and disaster-relief programs across the state.
