A West Covina woman survived a deadly shooting at an In-N-Out Burger location in Twin Falls, Idaho, while on a business trip to train employees at the chain’s new location, according to reports.
Authorities said the gunman acted alone in the attack, though the motive behind the shooting remains unclear. An armed citizen at the scene returned fire during the incident, and witnesses described the chaos as shots rang out inside the restaurant.
A Dick’s Sporting Goods employee nearby also described coming face to face with the shooter during the incident, which authorities continue to investigate.
