A Ukrainian drone attack on the Russian city of Nizhnekamsk killed at least 12 people, authorities said, in one of the deadliest such strikes inside Russia in roughly two years.
The attack targeted the city, home to a major oil refinery, as part of a broader wave of drone strikes across Russian territory reported the same night.
The strikes underscore the continued intensity of long-range attacks between Ukraine and Russia even as diplomatic efforts around the broader conflict continue.
