In South Carolina, GOP Voters decide who they want to replace the late Sen. Lindsey Graham

South Carolina Republicans headed to the polls to choose a nominee for the Senate seat left vacant by the death of longtime Sen. Lindsey Graham, with appointed Sen. Darline Graham advancing to a runoff after the initial primary field failed to produce a majority winner.

The special primary was part of a broader slate of election contests held Tuesday, with key races also decided in Wisconsin and Minnesota the same night.

The South Carolina runoff will determine the Republican nominee heading into the special election to permanently fill the seat.
