Three people, including the suspected perpetrator, are dead after a stabbing at a Hopkins, Minnesota, in-home daycare Wednesday morning. Police say a man, woman and child were found dead inside Brown Bear Daycare, and investigators believe the man killed the other two before taking his own life.
Six additional children present at the daycare were unharmed and have been returned to their families. Police are also investigating a connection to a fatal stabbing in nearby Burnsville the same day, involving a woman believed to be a close relative of the suspect.
Hopkins Police Chief Brent Johnson said the investigation is ongoing.
