What were the Week 6 scores?

  • Texans 34, Jaguars 31 (London): C.J. Stroud threw for 312 yards and three TDs, and Ka’imi Fairbairn hit a 49-yarder as time expired.
  • Bears 31, Falcons 23: Caleb Williams went 30 of 36 for 305 yards in his first game back from a hamstring injury.
  • Browns 13, Ravens 10: Cleveland held Baltimore to 235 yards and won on a field goal on the final play.
  • Titans 26, Colts 20: Tennessee got its first win despite being outgained by 213 yards.
  • Patriots 26, Jets 19: Drake Maye threw three TDs for the third straight game.
  • Saints 34, Giants 27: Tyler Shough threw four TDs. Jameis Winston was benched for J.J. McCarthy after two picks.
  • Panthers 25, Eagles 14: Bryce Young threw for 281 yards and Chuba Hubbard ran for 120.
  • Steelers 26, Buccaneers 19 (OT): Pittsburgh came back from 13 down in the fourth quarter.
  • Cardinals 18, Rams 16: Chad Ryland made all six field goals, including the winner.
  • Chiefs 22, Chargers 6: Kenneth Walker III ran for 128 yards and two TDs. Kansas City is 5-0; the Chargers are 0-6.
  • Bills 33, Raiders 30: Josh Allen threw two TDs, and Las Vegas’ late onside kick failed.
  • Packers 23, Cowboys 13: Two Prescott interceptions killed Dallas.

How bad is it for the Eagles?

Bad. Without Jalen Hurts, who’s out with a blood clot, Tanner McKee went 26 of 45 for 215 yards and was sacked three times. Philadelphia is 2-4, and four straight losses is its longest skid under Nick Sirianni. Several more starters left with injuries. The Cowboys lost too, and the Giants at 3-2-1 lead a weak NFC East, so Philadelphia isn’t out of it yet.

The BeezLoop Take

Kansas City at 5-0 and Buffalo at 5-1 look like the class of the AFC again, and Green Bay is quietly building something with its defense before Jacobs is even back. The Bears with a healthy Caleb Williams look like a different team.

The Eagles are the story nobody in Philadelphia wanted. A team built to contend is 2-4, its quarterback is dealing with a medical issue, not a sprain, and the injury list keeps growing. That’s not a slump you fix in a week.

The open question: can the Eagles stay in the race until Hurts is cleared, or is this season already slipping away?
